About the Lone Star Corvette Club

Good Friends Great Cars

Just bought a new Corvette, or just love them?  You have come to the right place!  The Lone Star Corvette Club is dedicated to the Corvette lifestyle and the people that own them.  Our Club slogan says it all:

Good Friends.…Great Cars!

Founded in 1982, Lone Star Corvette Club now has over 1,000 members – each with his/her own story to tell of how they found that perfect “Vette.”  Based in the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex, Lone Star Corvette Club offers just about any activity an owner of “America’s Sports Car” could want: Road Trips, Day Trips, Open Road Racing, Drag Racing, Autocross, NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society), Car Shows, Displays and Parades, the Lone Star Corvette Classic, Club Meetings, and most of all, fun times with good friends.

Road TripsLone Star Corvette Club takes at least one significant road trip each year, usually in conjunction with a Corvette event.  To get an even better feel about what the Lone Star Corvette Club is all about, click on the “Newsletter” button and read the latest issue of our award winning online newsletter.

2021 LSCC Big Trip

Yellowstone & Glacier Nat'l Parks, Banff, Canadian Rockies and Black Hills

The trip begins 6/19/2021 and ends either 7/4/2021 or 7/5/2021 depending on how much of a hurry you’re in to get home.

We will have almost 4 days in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Park area.  This should give us plenty of time for seeing the sights, hiking, horseback riding, rafting adventures, museums and great drives.

We will then turn north to drive the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park.  We will spend most of one day making the drive and taking pictures, short hikes and perhaps seeing some wildlife.

We will continue north to Calgary, Alberta.  From there we enter the Canadian Rockies and see Banff, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, the Icefields Parkway, the Athabasca Glacier and Jasper, Alberta.  Plenty to see and do in that area as well, including the Maligne Lake boat tour.

From there we turn home to see the Custer Battlefield, Devil’s Tower, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Monument among other sights.

For those that wish to make the full trip, including Alberta, Canada, remember, you will need a valid PASSPORT.

"Click" on the link below to review the details and keep coming back as more information will be added to this event as those details become available.

If you plan to go, please sign-up for the event ASAP
.  By signing up as soon as possible, it gives us a better idea of what size hotel blocks to create.  Blocks are currently to be set-up at the listed hotels.  As those blocks become available, information will be sent to those that have signed up and published on this site.

Wreaths Across America

Because of weather and covid, LSCC has been unable to serve our veterans by participating in the Dallas Veterans Day Parade for the last two years.  However, we do have an opportunity to serve.  Wreaths Across America will be laying wreaths at the DFW National Cemetery on December 19th starting at 11 a.m.  They are looking for people to help in a couple of different ways, one is to support the effort by purchasing a wreath, the other is to lay wreaths at the cemetery, or both.  This is a great opportunity to help and show our thanks and respect.

This website has all the information readily available on ways to help and how to register so that you receive updates regarding the event:

The location of the cemetery is 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

While there is a registration page, this is primarily so you can see who else will be participating but no formal group meet  up or organization. Feel free to get with your friends to go together but get signed up on the official Wreaths Across America Dallas - Fort Worth site soon. The Wreaths Across America volunteer spots typically get filled quickly although with 2020 there are no absolutes.

LSCC Welcomes New Members

New Members

The role of the Navigator is to welcome new members, inform, educate them about Club activities that are available, and make sure they meet all of the respective coordinators.  The Navigator would ensure that new members understand how to access and use the LSCC website.  The Navigator should encourage new members to have fun attending meetings, participating in events and making good friends.
