The next LSCC Charity Road Rally will be on Saturday, March 25th, starting at Buc-ee’s across from TMS and 35W; sign in will start at 9AM, Drivers meeting at 9:30 (if we need one), First car out at 10:00.
Something a Little Different
I’m going to try something a little different by offering lead and follow groups for those who would prefer to follow rather than read instructions. There will be “Spirited” run group(s) plus a mild run group running at posted speed and if needed, we’ll have a Ventage group for the cruisers. Of course, for those who still wish to follow printed instructions may still do so too. You will have the option of running in a lead & follow group or do your own thing at your own speed or get together with a few friends and drive the tour on your own. Directions will be pretty simple so if you can’t scare-up a navigator, no problem.
We will be touring the less populated Hwy 4 on the west side of Fort Worth; we will be revisiting the best Corvette Road within a day’s drive of the metro. Overall driving time will be about 2 ½ hrs. and mileage just under 150 ending in downtown Granbury.
For those who would like to chow down at the end of the trip have several choices
A few of the more popular places right off the square (on Pearl St.) are Babe’s Chicken Dinner House or Fuzzy’s Taco Shop across the street from Babe’s or Pearl Street BBQ next door to Babe’s. This is an excellent time to invite a few of our newer members to come sit and get to know the old members!
Check the club's website calendar to sign up; like all our Charity Rally’s, a donation of $25 per car will be charged; this can be (Preferred) paid on the website with a Cc. Your donation is tax deductible and will go toward the LSCC Classic Charity’s.
Donations are even excepted if you cannot participate in the driving event.
