About the Lone Star Corvette Club

Good Friends Great Cars

Just bought a new Corvette, or just love them?  You have come to the right place!  The Lone Star Corvette Club is dedicated to the Corvette lifestyle and the people that own them.  Our Club slogan says it all:

Good Friends.…Great Cars!

Founded in 1982, Lone Star Corvette Club now has over 1,000 members – each with his/her own story to tell of how they found that perfect “Vette.”  Based in the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex, Lone Star Corvette Club offers just about any activity an owner of “America’s Sports Car” could want: Road Trips, Day Trips, Open Road Racing, Drag Racing, Autocross, NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society), Car Shows, Displays and Parades, the Lone Star Corvette Classic, Club Meetings, and most of all, fun times with good friends.

Road TripsLone Star Corvette Club takes at least one significant road trip each year, usually in conjunction with a Corvette event.  To get an even better feel about what the Lone Star Corvette Club is all about, click on the “Newsletter” button and read the latest issue of our award winning online newsletter.

5th Annual Corvette World Dallas Garage Party

33rd Annual North Texas Corvette Roundup

September 14th & 15th, 2018

It is time to sign-up for the annual trip to Wichita Falls for the North Texas Corvette Roundup Show that is put on by our friends at the Wichita County Corvette Association.

If you haven't been with the club to a Corvette show, this is a perfect place to start.  It is a little over a 100 miles to the show, so join us and caravan up on Friday afternoon, come on your own Friday evening, or you can even come up Saturday morning before the show.

This is a "must-do" event for all LSCC members!

Dallas Veterans Day Parade 2018

SAVE THE DATE ! !  Monday, November 12, 2018

The Dallas Veterans Day Parade will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018.  Please put this annual event on your calendars!  We are counting on those of you who either participated in 2017 or in prior years to once again be part of this gratifying experience.  If you have maintained contact with your respective veteran(s) or have retained their contact information, please go ahead and re-establish contact.

By the second week of September, an updated list in the form of a spreadsheet will be sent out to last year's participants.  By October 1st, contact confirmation and participant status will be needed by the coordinator so as to fill any vacancies as well as to follow established protocols to recruit new veterans from retirement centers or private referrals.

The Dallas Veterans Day Parade committee has informed us that the final staging, routing, participant number(s), and parade positioning won't be available until the very end of October or the very first of November.  This event is now on the LSCC Event Calendar and you can register HERE

LSCC has been asked once again to work the Mecum Auction at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.  If you enjoy looking at and driving classic cars, this is the event for you!  Ask anyone who has worked any of the previous Mecum events and you will be sure to hear what a "BLAST" it was - especially if they got the chance to drive a car across the block while the auction was being broadcast on the NBCSN channel.  Mecum pays the club for each car it moves at the auction.  This event is a major fund raiser for our club.

LSCC Welcomes New Members

New Members

The role of the Navigator is to welcome new members, inform, educate them about Club activities that are available, and make sure they meet all of the respective coordinators.  The Navigator would ensure that new members understand how to access and use the LSCC website.  The Navigator should encourage new members to have fun attending meetings, participating in events and making good friends.
