Plano Lions Club 4th of July Parade

Parades and Displays
Registration is required
Participants are limited to Corvette convertibles and coupes with removable tops. CLUB MEMBERS ONLY
No Fee

The Club has once again been asked by the Plano Rotary Club to provide drivers and fifteen (15) Corvette convertible and/or coupes with tops stowed to drive their officers in The Plano Lions Club 4th of July Parade.  The Club has participated in the parade for the past three years and really enjoyed it.  The parade has been a Plano tradition for over thirty years.  Though short in length, it is very well attended by Plano residents.  It is a great opportunity to get some exposure for the Club.
The parade gets underway Tuesday morning, July 4th  at 9:00 am. Since the Rotary Club's position in the parade is very near the front, we should be finished no later than 10:00 am giving you plenty of time to celebrate the 4th with your family. (Total driving time should be less than 30 minutes.)
We'll meet in the former Albertson's parking lot at 15th Street and Custer at 7:30 am and then proceed as a group to our position in the parade to decorate our cars with Independence Day decorations. Last year's weather was quite warm so you may want to bring some bottled water along.
Since we will be driving Rotary Club officers, you will not be able to bring along a companion to ride with you. By all means bring a second Corvette if you have one.
Please give me a call at 972-596-5181 if you have any questions.
Thanks for your support.

New Members

The role of the Navigator is to welcome new members, inform, educate them about Club activities that are available, and make sure they meet all of the respective coordinators.  The Navigator would ensure that new members understand how to access and use the LSCC website.  The Navigator should encourage new members to have fun attending meetings, participating in events and making good friends.
